The Consulate of the Netherlands is a diplomatic emissary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We serve as a link between The Netherlands, Georgia and South Carolina in all aspects of culture, trade, education, and sports.

In addition, the office serves the local and Dutch constituency in these two states by providing consular assistance to citizens of The Netherlands and others. The Honorary Consulate in Atlanta processes both passport applications for Dutch nationals as well as visa applications for foreign nationals who require visa to travel to the Schengen area, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.

The Honorary Consulate in Atlanta falls under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Miami. The Consulate General in Miami is responsible for the following areas of the United States and the Caribbean: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, the Turks & Caicos Islands, the Cayman Islands and the US Virgin Islands.

Applications for passports and visas are processed at our office in Atlanta. However, the production of these documents takes place in Miami; please allow processing time of 2-3 weeks for passports and 3-30 days for visas.
